The Challenge

Unity Mutual struggled with ineffective creative assets that hindered their ability to convert leads. Feedback on designs from their previous agency highlighted significant flaws, including poor layout, excessive white space, and text that was difficult to read. The assets failed to stand out in a competitive market, and their website experienced high drop-off rates during the lead application process, requiring a complete overhaul of design & strategy.

The Situation

Leveraging my expertise in digital design, I developed a comprehensive solution that balanced aesthetics and functionality for Unity Mutual. Strategically, I ensured each digital ad asset was optimised with high-performing keywords from Google Ads, aligning creative elements with top-ranking search terms to maximise visibility and engagement.

Each digital asset also aligned with brand guidelines, enhancing visual appeal and readability. Collaborating with the in-house marketing team, I ensured designs met brand standards and strategic objectives. Using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, I produced high-quality materials while incorporating financial industry compliance requirements. Additionally, I recommended redirecting ad traffic into a nurturing funnel, reducing drop-off rates and improving conversions.

The Result

The updated campaign designs led to 92 new leads in just four weeks, delivering a 22% increase in conversion rates. By introducing designs that strategically combined strong layouts, optimised typography, and high-impact visuals, I significantly enhanced Unity Mutual’s ability to engage their target demographic.
